My late friend architect Kinya Taniguchi, Mark Ruth of TRS and I had a rare privilege of working together to design and create an exciting experience using our knowledge of the place. Kinya and I are fortunate to preserve and integrate native landscape into the hotel lobby and preserving much of the waterfront site and adjoining forest. The site and the hotel takes advantage of the site to maximise the view of Gun Beach and Ypao Beach.
